Manufacturing Microcircuits and Custom Semiconductors Since 1982
Aerospace Semiconductor, Inc. designs and manufactures quality hybrid microelectronics, custom semiconductors and provides semiconductor packaging services. Our circuits are used wherever space is at a premium, harsh operating environments exist, high reliability is required, or a customized package can lead to improved circuit or thermal performance. We also design and manufacture drop-in replacements for electronic components which are obsolete, hard to find or no longer commercially available.
We consider our unique combination of circuit design capability and process know-how critical to the successful delivery of microelectronic solutions. We utilize appropriate technologies for the requirement, as dictated by the criteria of performance, cost and sound engineering judgment. We can start from an existing design, a schematic which needs to be miniaturized or improved, or a concept that needs to be realized from scratch. We are also able to test products against a full suite of electrical and environmental testing requirements.

Our History
Aerospace Semiconductor began as Sanchez Associates, Inc. in 1982 as a designer and manufacturer of quality hybrid microelectronics. Initially, Sanchez designed a high-performance Pin Driver circuit from a black box specification for automatic test equipment. During our first year, we began manufacturing this high reliability, high performance circuit in volume. Because of our design and manufacturing expertise, we grew to become the supplier of choice to aerospace and military markets where a premium is placed on size and performance. Over time, we have continued to expand our capabilities–designing and producing signal processing, data acquisition, instrumentation, multi-chip digital circuits, and power hybrids. Our circuits can be found in the Space Station, commercial avionics (Boeing, Airbus, etc.), military missiles, planes, helicopters, aircraft carriers, submarines and high reliability industrial and medical products.
For our aerospace and military customers, we design, manufacture and screen complex circuitry to MIL-PRF-38534, including conformance and periodic inspection.
Our Timeline
2019 – Awarded Hubzone status.
2018 – Certified to AS9100D & ISO9001:2015. ITAR registered.
2016 – Sanchez Associates renamed to Aerospace Semiconductor, Inc
2013 – Founder Al Sanchez retires.
2012 – Sanchez Associates acquired by Boston area business leader and MIT Alum, Adrian Pyke.
2005 – Sanchez Associates receives DLA Laboratory Suitability Status for MIL-PRF-38534, FSC 5962, MIL-STD-883 and MIL-STD-750.
1999 – Received Small Disadvantage Business (SDB) status.
1997 – Received MIL-I-45208A and MIL-STD-45662A Certificate of Approval.
1995 – Approved as supplier of parts to the Space Station by McDonnel Douglas.
1992 – Sanchez Associates, Inc. Founded by Al Sanchez.
